The Nassopoulos Family has been producing olive oil from the Kalamata region of Greece for many generations.  Greek Gourmet started in 1985 as one of the first importers of olive oil from Greece to the US.  In 1992 the company was one of the organizers of the Mediterranean Diet Conference in Northern Greece, thereafter, both olive oil and the Mediterranean Diet gained popularity due to olive oils many health benefits.

Greek Gourmet has since expanded to import olives, peppers and other delicacies from Greece. Representing many farms and manufacturers, the company supports the local Greek culture and brings their food traditions to be enjoyed in the United States and abroad.

Greek Gourmet, has also added rolled wafers, fruit jams, and teas from India to it's product line. The company continues to explore new products and ideas with regular visits to the Greek countryside in search of local specialties and hand picked foods to share.
